What happens when a talented team of designers, 3D artists, account managers, and creatives apply themselves to incredible retail design? Awards happen! We were absolutely honoured to be recognized by the Applied Arts awards in the category of Retail Application. Uncle Drew, our throwback retro installation at House of Hoops that recreated a 1970’s rec room (complete with shag carpeting, a working barber chair, and all things groovy) dunked its way into the judge’s hearts, scoring us a nod and a trophy from the Applied Arts committee.

Our futuristic Tron-meets-Back-to-the-Future Nike Adapt sneaker lab (complete with personalized leaderboard, floating basketballs, and lab technicians with bespoke mission patches) also bounced its way to the top, giving us a second Retail Application award and a second reason to smile.

Whether we’re looking back or thinking ahead, it’s an awesome feeling when work gets recognized, and we’re over the moon with these two wins. Now we just have to figure out what to do with all this leftover shag carpeting and the extra lab coats.
